Many other nations have an extension until Aug. 7, but already the U.S. economy is showing signs of stress. Friday’s jobs report was much weaker than expected, leading Trump to fire the woman in charge of the stats. Trump has ordered two U.S. nuclear submarines to be re-positioned in response to what he calls “foolish threats” from Russia’s former president.
