PhenoKey and phenoLytics are joining forces under the new brand SeedTelligence. The collaboration combines their complementary strengths to provide deeper insights into seed value. Supported by the technological expertise of Fraunhofer IIS, SeedTelligence delivers interconnected technology solutions that offer real-time, non-destructive insights across the entire lifecycle, from seed to seedling to plant.
With SeedTelligence, decision-makers across the supply chain no longer need to rely on fragmented data or subjective scoring. The solutions provide objective, predictive insights drawn directly from the seed. Built on technologies such as 3D X-ray CT and powered by algorithms and predictive models, SeedTelligence turns measurements into actionable insights. It connects teams, systems, and sites under a shared language of ground-truth data.
According to Bas van Eerdt, Manager SeedTelligence and CEO of PhenoKey, “SeedTelligence moves beyond indirect assessments to deliver true quality insights. SeedTelligence will be officially launched at Seed Meets Technology (SMT) from 23–25 September in Zwaagdijk-Oost. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the SeedTelligence team, see the new X-ray CT scanner, and explore the applications of the solutions for their organization.
During SMT, Johannes Wolff and Bas van Eerdt will also present a lecture titled “How 3D X-ray CT is Transforming Quality Prediction.” The session will cover real-life industry use cases on seed-to-seedling-to-plant phenotypic data and its role in unlocking value across processes.
