MADISON, Wis. — Two native artists have an opportunity to spend two weeks in Germany to create an artwork exhibition, Dane County introduced.
The chance is a part of the EUARCA+ 2022 artwork camp, hosted by the County of Kassel for its sister areas of Europe, in addition to its American sister county: Dane County.
The 2 artists will spend over two weeks on the Youth Training Web site Sensenstein in August of this 12 months, culminating with an exhibition on August 20. The theme of the artwork camp is “snapshot.”
“Dane County is proud to have a sturdy inventive neighborhood,” County Govt Joe Parisi mentioned in an announcement Wednesday. “It is a nice alternative for native artists to showcase their expertise to the world.”
Bills for the artists shall be paid for by EUARCA+ 2022 and a stipend from Dane County.
Dane County and Kassel partnered as sister counties in 2007, with the purpose of exchanging concepts and forging financial and cultural partnerships. Kassel is positioned within the northern portion of the state of Hesse in central Germany, about 200 km north of Frankfurt.
Purposes are due March 14 at 4 p.m. and the 2 artists shall be chosen by the Dane County Arts and Cultural Affairs Fee.
