GENEVA — German International Minister Annalena Baerbock known as Thursday for the U.N. human rights workplace to launch a report it has compiled on the scenario of the Uyghur Muslim minority in China.
Baerbock stated in a video speech to the 47-nation U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva that the worldwide physique wants “extra transparency.”
“We encourage the Excessive Commissioner (for Human Rights) to publish your report on the detention of members of the Muslim Uyghur neighborhood – and we name on Beijing to permit unfettered entry,” she stated.
