TRINIDAD AND Tobago’s double Olympic medallist Keshorn Walcott captured silver within the males’s javelin on the Internationales Leichtathletik Assembly on the Paul-Greifzu Stadium, Dessau, Germany on Wednesday.
Walcott, who bought gold on the 2012 Olympics in London and bronze on the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, launched the spear 84.69 metres, his greatest for the 2022 season up to now.
Successful gold on Wednesday was German Julian Weber along with his 85.02m throw whereas Czech Republic’s Jakub Vadlejch earned bronze with an 83.39m try.
Previous to his silver medal efficiency, Walcott gained gold on the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Atlanta, USA, in March. There, he threw 84.68m.
