A number of rockets fell in Erbil, northern Iraq, early Sunday, the state information company cited Iraqi Kurdistan’s governor as saying.
Erbil is the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Area.
State tv cited Iraqi Kurdistan’s well being minister as saying that there have been “no victims or casualties” after the blasts.
Amid studies that the assault was concentrating on the US consulate in Erbil, a US official advised Reuters information company that there have been no US army casualties following the assault.
